Zano (ZANO)

The Zcash team recently disclosed a vulnerability in their Orchard privacy pool, found with Claude Opus 4.8, that could in theory have allowed undetectable counterfeit coins. They patched it fast and disclosed it openly.

This is the new reality for every privacy protocol. AI-assisted auditing can now find cryptographic flaws that traditional review can't.

At Zano, the team already runs AI-assisted analysis against the protocol as part of hardening Hardfork 6, relying on frontier models as well as having deployed infrastructure to self-host our own models for additional security guarantees, catching hidden vulnerabilities and fixing them before they ship to mainnet.

Strong privacy and a supply you can trust are not nice-to-haves. They are the foundation, and the foundation gets tested first. The privacy projects that last will be the ones already stress-testing their own cryptography with these tools, before anyone else does it for them. 🔒

just the other day, we saw Circle freeze Zama's $12.6M USDC for no reason at all. having a centralized authority that can arbitrarily freeze your assets is NOT ideal (especially considering Circle's history of being useless)

on @zano_project ( $ZANO ), this can't happen. because every transaction is private (including $fUSD, Zano's native stablecoin), no tokens on Zano can ever be blacklisted. no compliance risk or freezing risk for holders, and anyone can issue their own private tokens on Zano with the same level of privacy and security, guaranteed. not only that, but unlike other privacy tokens (ZEC for instance), which replies heavily on optionally 'shielded' transactions (and gives you an avenue for exploits...), Zano enforces privacy at the protocol level - ALL details are hidden automatically for every user!

speaking of security, even as an older chain, Zano has one of the most secure models in all of crypto - a hybrid PoW/PoS model that requires attackers to attack the network by simultaneously having majority hashpower AND a large staked position, something which is very very difficult to achieve, if not downright impossible.
