    According to Wu, former Pump Fun employee @shaams initiated an AMA describing his assets plummeting from $45 million to $17,000. He initially amassed huge wealth by betting on POPCAT, WIF, and Pump employee stock options. However, after the market weakened in late summer 2025, heavy leveraged long positions on altcoins and blind chasing of highs caused his wealth to evaporate quickly. He admitted that, because his goal was $100 million, the $45 million was never withdrawn, remaining only on paper.
