Most common problem for retail traders, but this is also what makes many retail traders keep losing Usually people whose capital is only “just” around $1,000 or less - Look for memecoins hoping for 100x returns - Trade futures with high leverage Hoping to turn $1,000 into $10,000 or even $100,000 I totally get it, seeing people post on social media profits of hundreds or even thousands of dollars a day makes you jealous, itchy, and gives you FOMO But you have to understand, the stuff being flexed on social media is all wins. Losses? RARE! ALMOST NEVER Yeah, that's embarrassing! Better to do this: - Don’t go all‑in. If you have $1,000, only put $50‑100 in at a time. Or if you hit a stop‑loss, limit the loss to $25‑50 - Don’t act on FOMO; wait until it’s already moving up before you buy - Don’t deposit money if your living expenses aren’t covered yet People with small capital don’t need fancy trading techniques. They need: - Discipline - Position‑size control - Stay quiet when there’s no opportunity This is more important than chasing a 100x potential Remember, as long as the money isn’t gone, there will always be opportunities!

I noticed $MEME trending inside @SuperiorTrade_ Terminal's liquidity scanner, so I decided to go beyond the headline move and test whether the funding squeeze narrative actually had an edge. The setup looked explosive on paper: • 78% Squeeze Fuel match • +16.8% price move • -297.6% funding APR • $1.73M annualized fees paid by shorts • Open Interest turning over every 1.03 days At first glance, it looked like the perfect recipe for a short squeeze. But instead of blindly chasing the move, I deployed the Funding Squeeze framework and ran a full parameter sweep to see how the signal actually performed across different funding thresholds. The results were surprising. Variant A (-150% APR trigger) • -9.33% PnL • 11 trades • 12.1% Max Drawdown Variant B (-250% APR trigger) • -5.33% PnL • 7 trades • Best Sharpe • Lowest Drawdown Variant C (-350% APR trigger) • -11.1% PnL • 0 winning trades What the backtest revealed is something many traders ignore: Extreme funding alone is not a trading edge. Just because shorts are paying massive fees doesn't automatically mean a squeeze is coming. In MEME's case, the market repeatedly showed that heavily negative funding could persist much longer than expected without triggering the explosive liquidation cascade everyone was anticipating. The strongest variant was still negative. That's valuable information. Because the goal of backtesting isn't to confirm your bias. It's to challenge it. Most traders would see -297% funding and immediately assume "free money." The data showed a different story. The market was already pricing in much of the squeeze narrative, and entries were often arriving after the most profitable part of the move had already happened. This is exactly why I've been using Superior Terminal more aggressively lately. Instead of trading stories, I can test the actual mechanics behind those stories: • Funding pressure • Liquidity flow • Open interest behavior • Position turnover • Squeeze probabilities • Historical performance Sometimes the biggest win isn't finding a profitable strategy. It's discovering when a strategy doesn't work before risking real capital. That's alpha too.

The backtest of a short‑squeeze strategy on MEME shows all variants lose money; extreme negative funding rates do not provide a trading edge.

Perps, prediction markets, and most memes are like blackjack. You can be strategic, but the house almost always wins. The incentive to create these apps that trigger the dopamine response will always find an audience, but it's more of an indicator of how desperate people have become. Once the Clarity Act passes, the Blue Ocean of every other sector will be completely open to blockchain. Don't lose all of your hard earned crypto playing a game you will likely lose.

From my understanding, Memeland’s new Captainz art and system will transition the collection from a traditional PFP into a pure digital collectible model, based more on how TCG rarity works. I think gamifying the reveal is always fun. I remember Ultraman on Abstract recently innovating in a similar way. However, removing the main medium of proliferation, the social media PFP, and moving away from traditional NFT rarity rules is a huge risk. Because now, you are essentially no longer catering directly to NFT collectors. Assuming the NFT superfan model is over for good after the MEME drop, I would say the intrinsic value of these assets becomes strictly tied to the success of the Captainz brand and the Captainz TCG. And today, that value is still almost zero. 🥵 Let’s see where this goes. I would not rule out a physical edition or redeemable product paired with the new reveal, especially if a physical Memeland TCG is really coming. The team used to cook hard back in the Potatoz days. Can they return to their golden era?

.@Memeland just dropped a new reveal mechanic that go against from how the NFT PFP space has done art reveals for the past 4 years. and for the first time, it seems like an NFT token will be used as part of the reveal mechanism.👀 Here's how it works: > Convert NFTs back into something like TCG booster packs, creating this new art reveal experience > Upon reveal, rarer captains will have this "holo effects", so instead of the usual trait-based rarity, it seems like Memeland is exploring a new direction on how "rare" is going to be gauged for NFTs. > Multiple rips per pack possible as hinted by Kevin, likely gated by $MEME spend, which would double as a token sink. Memeland has always been known to venture on new territories and creative directions for their product experiences. A must need especially with little to no innovations happening on the NFT PFP space for the past few years. Now, the most important question is: do you think this is something that everyone will find exciting or rather alienate t

The shift of MEME to a TCG model carries high risk, and its current value is nearly zero.

MEME.C Chart measuring the meme ecosystem by market cap. Since the September 2025 peak, we fell to February lows. More than half a year of meme death and destruction. But... since the bearish trend broke in early April, the market has risen 45% from a market cap of $26B to almost $36B. Signal of all the risk on we have had where many runners performed well in the trenches. Are we still rising or is this the beginning of a pullback? What do you think?

From 9GAG to SocialFi. Memeland is turning meme distribution into an on-chain ecosystem built around NFTs, staking, and $MEME. 15K+ NFT holders. 245K Discord members. 5M+ X followers. The key question is whether the token loop can outlast the hype. #MEME
