FIP 16 sets up a self-reinforcing loop through FIRE:

As activity on Flare grows, the network collects real revenue ( FAssets/Smart Account fees, attestations, and MEV). FIRE then redirects that income back as rewards to the asset issuers and projects driving the activity, which gives them a built-in incentive to deploy even more economic value on Flare, which generates still more fees and MEV for FIRE to recycle.

Because these earnings-based rewards can gradually replace FLR inflation, the growing activity could do both funds validators organically and add deflationary pressure on FLR, so the more the ecosystem is used, the stronger and more self-sustaining the whole cycle becomes.
