Over the next few days, we will begin gradually rolling out a kink on the interest rate curve for the USDe-USDG vault at 95% utilization.

At the request of Ethena’s risk management committee, we are implementing this change to better align with their risk management and compliance policies, which designate an ideal target utilization rate of 95%.

This will not be a sudden adjustment - we will slowly increase the borrow rate at the new kink in approximately 24 hours.

After that, every 12 hours the rate will be increased until the curve reaches the new parameters.

To alleviate stress on borrowers, the overall profitability will not be brought into the negative through the weekend (Asia time) as we would like to give users time to adjust through the weekend and into the new week.
