    Still bearish on $XRP long term? Let me remind you that South Korea, one of the deepest crypto markets on earth, is trading more XRP than Bitcoin. AND IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE Upbit, South Korea's largest exchange controlling 70% of the country's crypto market, crowned XRP as its most traded digital asset for all of 2025. Over $1 trillion in XRP volume on a single exchange. Peak day: $1.22 billion. 13.26 million Upbit users in a country of 51 million. One in four South Koreans on the platform. XRP capturing 15-22% of daily trading volume consistently. Outperforming Bitcoin and Ethereum. The trend continued into 2026. On May 13, XRP hit $110.9M in 24-hour volume on Upbit. Bitcoin: $88.6M. Ethereum: $67M. XRP topped both on the same day. Again. Evernorth CEO just confirmed what the data showed. At Bitcoin Seoul this week, one of the most-traded coins wasn't Bitcoin. It was XRP. Now the institutional layer is arriving. Mirae Asset, one of Korea's largest investment banks, reportedly acquired a 20% stake in Korbit exchange. Hana, another major institution, is reportedly moving on Upbit. The incumbents aren't building around crypto. They're buying into the infrastructure directly. 25 million South Korean crypto investors. No futures. No leverage. Spot only. These are real buyers accumulating real tokens because they believe in real utility. And the conversation at Bitcoin Seoul shifted from "what coin do you hold" to "what can your chain actually settle." Tokenization panels dominated the floor. Ondo on tokenized treasuries. SBI on tokenized assets. The institutions are deciding which infrastructure to build on. South Korea answered that question with $1 trillion in XRP volume last year alone. The rest of the world is catching up.
