Zano (ZANO)

The Zcash team recently disclosed a vulnerability in their Orchard privacy pool, found with Claude Opus 4.8, that could in theory have allowed undetectable counterfeit coins. They patched it fast and disclosed it openly.

This is the new reality for every privacy protocol. AI-assisted auditing can now find cryptographic flaws that traditional review can't.

At Zano, the team already runs AI-assisted analysis against the protocol as part of hardening Hardfork 6, relying on frontier models as well as having deployed infrastructure to self-host our own models for additional security guarantees, catching hidden vulnerabilities and fixing them before they ship to mainnet.

Strong privacy and a supply you can trust are not nice-to-haves. They are the foundation, and the foundation gets tested first. The privacy projects that last will be the ones already stress-testing their own cryptography with these tools, before anyone else does it for them. 🔒
