Over the last few months, market manipulation has become an everyday occurrence. What started as isolated incidents has now become a weekly routine.

We've seen tokens such as RAVE, RAIN, RIVER, MYX, LAB, M, PIPPIN, and others with little to no utility being manipulated into the top ranks of the cryptocurrency market.

I agree with ZachXBT's view: if regulators or the public don't make an example of at least one of these teams, the behavior will continue, retail participants will keep getting rekt, and insiders will continue getting richer.

🚨 ZachXBT Alert: Stay away from prediction market project Rain Protocol

@zachxbt posted advising users to stay away from Rain Protocol, stating that its token price appears to be manipulated via the Uniswap V3 liquidity pool, and the transfer path goes through a suspicious launch platform Gems hot wallet confusing.

On-chain data shows that Rain team's funding sources overlap with failed project addresses such as Data Ownership Protocol (DOP), TOMI, etc. The aforementioned projects are all linked to the controversial Israeli figure Moshe Hogeg—who was arrested in 2021 for fraud and in 2023 was charged with involvement in a crypto scam of nearly $290 million.

Rain's locked value is about $27.2 million, but all of it is extremely illiquid native tokens; the $212 million treasury strategy announced in November 2025 also lacks verifiable data support.
