    Staking: One of the simplest ways to get started in DeFi. Staking is the process of locking your crypto tokens to support the operation and security of a blockchain network (Proof-of-Stake). With staking, your assets actively work while earning rewards in the form of additional tokens. Simple mechanism: ▫️Choose assets that support staking, such as SOL (Solana) or ETH (Ethereum). ▫️Deposit tokens to a validator or staking pool via a compatible wallet. ▫️The network automatically distributes rewards periodically, usually calculated per block or epoch. Main benefits: ✅Relatively stable and passive rewards. ✅Helps maintain blockchain network security. ✅Easy access with low minimum staking across many protocols. Risks to consider: ❌Slashing: Penalty of losing part of the assets if the chosen validator makes a mistake or behaves poorly. ❌Price volatility of the staked tokens. ❌Unstaking periods that may take time (e.g., 2–7 days or longer, depending on the chain). Staking is suitable as an initial step for beginners who want to start passive income in DeFi with relatively more controlled risk.

    ICYMI: This Indian crypto user was denied a 40 $SOL reward because of a single missing letter. A few days later, he had reportedly earned over $27,000. @Arivulife, a crypto user from Tamil Nadu, participated in a @Pumpfun bounty that asked users to tattoo "$boutywork" on their forehead. He completed the challenge exactly as written and submitted proof. But when it came time for the payout, the reward was reportedly denied because the intended word was "$bountywork" — with an extra "n." In other words, Arivu followed the instructions, but the instructions themselves appeared to contain a typo. The dispute quickly went viral across Crypto Twitter. Then things got even crazier. Instead of waiting for the bounty issue to be resolved, Solana traders launched a memecoin called $BOUTYWORK based on Arivu's tattoo and the entire controversy.     According to reports, Solana Treasury Company DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV) announced that Parker White will step down from his executive position at the company effective June 8, 2026, and will serve as an advisor in the short term to assist with the handover. After the transition period, White is expected to focus on the DeFi project Apyx, which was previously supported by DFDV.     100M CU blocks need @solana validators relaying shreds faster than they do today. XDP is how they get there: it speeds up Turbine's outbound propagation 750x, ensuring every block reaches the whole cluster before the next slot starts. We moved our entire fleet to XDP, and to help other operators get there, we upstreamed two patches to @anza_xyz's Agave, removing common adoption blockers: → VLAN tagging in userspace for segmented datacenter networks. Operators who split traffic across VLANs can now turn on XDP without the switch dropping their shreds → Multicast MAC derivation unlocks multicast retransmit on XDP for group sends. Useful on @DoubleZero and anywhere per-peer duplication isn\'t viable If there's a validator you'd like to see on XDP, tag them below👇
