Our analysts tested Claude’s newest Fable 5 model on crypto trading calls.

The task was simple:

- Pick one key metric for bitcoin:native , ethereum:native , and ripple:native , then give a floor, a year-end range, and a trigger that would prove the call wrong.

The answer was not “AI can trade” or “AI is useless.”

Bitcoin showed the weakness clearly.

Claude got the long-term holder signal right.

But its ETF flow estimate missed badly.

It flagged May outflows near $401M.
Actual bitcoin:native ETF outflows were around $2.43B.

That keeps the $52K-$56K floor alive, but makes the $78K-$92K year-end range much harder to defend.

Ethereum was a mixed call.

Claude nailed the validator queue signal: 3.03M ethereum:native was waiting to be staked.

But it missed the ETF bleed.

ripple:native was Claude’s cleanest call.

ETF buying helped absorb escrow pressure, while net releases stayed far below its danger zone.
