The arts center accepts BTC, ETH, and LTC donations, showcasing the social value of cryptocurrency.
We’re excited to partner with the @basiecenter to celebrate 100 years of music, theater, and arts.
The Basie Center is a nonprofit on a mission to inspire, educate, and entertain. And it’s one of a growing number of places accepting crypto donations. A sign of something bigger: crypto helping support the causes that people care about.
That is the part of the crypto story that often goes untold. The community that it brings together. NCA President @s_alderoty is a proud gala committee member.
Crypto is for everyone. So are the arts. 🤝

The tweet emphasizes that decentralization is key to blockchain network security and long-term success, illustrated with Bitcoin and InterLink as examples.
Why Decentralization Is the Key to Success and the Strongest Form of Security for a Network
One of the biggest misconceptions in the blockchain industry is that security comes solely from technology. In reality, many of the largest failures in crypto history did not happen because cryptography was broken or because blockchains stopped working. They happened because power, assets, and decision-making became concentrated in too few hands. The greatest threat to any network is not always a hacker. Sometimes it is centralization itself.
Recently, the industry witnessed a clear example with Humanity Protocol. More than $32 million was compromised and the H token collapsed nearly 90% during the crisis. Reports indicated that a Foundation member’s laptop was compromised, exposing private keys that controlled multiple Gnosis Safe multisignature wallets. Even more concerning, three of the six required keys were reportedly stored on a single personal device. Regardless of the technical details, the incident highlighted a simple reality: when too much control is concentrated in a small group of people, a single mistake can create catastrophic consequences for an entire ecosystem.
This is exactly why decentralization is not simply an ideology. It is a security model. The purpose of decentralization is to eliminate single points of failure and distribute responsibility across a large network of participants. When ownership, governance, validation, and economic power are spread across thousands or even millions of people, it becomes significantly harder for attackers, insiders, or organizations to compromise the system.
Bitcoin remains the strongest example of this principle. For more than a decade, it has survived exchange collapses, government pressure, market crashes, and countless attacks. There is no central treasury to drain, no CEO to remove, no company that controls the network, and no founder who can unilaterally change the rules. Bitcoin survives because trust is distributed across the network rather than concentrated in a single entity.
This philosophy is one of the fundamental principles behind InterLink. @inter_link was designed around the belief that no individual, founder, or organization should ever become a single point of failure for the network. During the Private Mainnet phase, token ownership is distributed among Human Nodes rather than concentrated in a Foundation treasury. The objective is simple: reduce systemic risk, eliminate centralized control over supply, and ensure that the long-term value of the network is determined by its participants rather than a small group of insiders.
That is intentionally different from many blockchain projects where foundations, venture capital firms, or founders control large portions of the token supply. While that structure may appear efficient in the short term, it introduces significant risks. If treasury wallets are compromised, enormous damage can occur. If insiders make poor decisions, the entire community may suffer. If founders leave, lose access, or become targets of attacks, confidence in the network can collapse overnight. History has repeatedly shown that concentration of power creates concentration of risk.
That is why @inter_link made its position clear from the beginning. During the Private Mainnet phase, core team members do not own or control the network’s token supply. Even if a founder’s laptop, social media account, or personal wallet were compromised, there is no centralized treasury that hackers can drain to manipulate the market or destroy the ecosystem. The security of the network does not depend on protecting a few powerful wallets. It depends on distributing ownership across Human Nodes throughout the ecosystem.
We have also made this clear to the community. Any suspicious links, fundraising campaigns, token sales, investment solicitations, or requests for money claiming to originate from the official @inter_link or @kv_interlink social media accounts should be treated as fraudulent. @inter_link will not conduct fundraising rounds, private sales, or token sales through social media channels. Trust should be built through technology, transparency, and community participation-not through aggressive fundraising campaigns.
As the network grows, validators, businesses, developers, dApp builders, and users will collectively contribute to the security and resilience of the ecosystem. The strength of a blockchain does not come from how much power its founders possess. It comes from how little the network depends on them. A truly decentralized network should be capable of continuing to operate, grow, and evolve regardless of the actions of any individual participant.
Decentralization also provides economic protection. When ownership is broadly distributed, it becomes significantly harder for any individual or organization to manipulate supply, influence governance decisions, or control the future direction of the ecosystem. The more decentralized the ownership structure becomes, the more sustainable the network becomes. Long-term value is created by the collective efforts of the ecosystem rather than by a small group of insiders.
Decentralization is not always the easiest path. It is often slower, more difficult, more expensive, and requires greater patience. However, history has consistently demonstrated that networks built on distributed ownership and distributed trust are far more resilient than those relying on a handful of wallets, servers, executives, or decision makers. The strongest networks are not the ones with the most powerful leaders. They are the ones that no longer require powerful leaders to survive.
At @inter_link, the goal is not simply to build another blockchain. The goal is to build a network that can survive beyond any founder, any team member, and any organization. A network where trust resides in the protocol rather than in individuals. A network where security comes from decentralization rather than central authority. A network where long-term sustainability is achieved through collective participation rather than concentrated control.
That is the true meaning of decentralization. It is not just a feature of blockchain technology. It is the foundation of security, resilience, sustainability, and long-term success.

About HarryPotterTrumpSonic100Inu
Bitcoin (BTC) is a digital asset and a payment system invented by Satoshi Nakamoto who published a related paper in 2008 and released it as open-source software in 2009. The system featured as peer-to-peer; users can transact directly without an intermediary. Transactions are verified by network nodes and recorded in a public distributed ledger called the blockchain. The ledger uses bitcoin as its unit of account. The system works without a central repository or single administrator, which has led the U.S. Treasury to categorize bitcoin as a decentralized virtual currency. Bitcoin is often called the first cryptocurrency, although prior systems existed. Bitcoin is more correctly described as the first decentralized digital currency. It is the largest of its kind in terms of total market value by now.
