$LDO quietly brewing 💎 Lido DAO stated that, compared to the protocol's financial performance and the TVL it carries, the LDO price has historically been very cheap, and offered a one‑time $20 million buyback package, which has been officially accepted. To keep market impact to a minimum, these purchases are not done in a single batch. Led by the treasury, they are executed in 1,000 stETH slices, using limit orders or a dollar‑cost‑average strategy gradually. In addition to the above one‑time emergency purchase, the Lido team has developed a more sustainable and automatic buyback mechanism that will operate within the NEST framework. A portion of the protocol’s staking revenue will be used directly to collect LDO from the open market.
