    Anyone calling $TON → $GRAM “rebrand” clearly failed basic history class This isn’t a rebrand. Telegram didn’t just wake up one morning and decide to get creative. They’re reclaiming what the SEC literally stole from them years ago . GRAM was always the name. Always the ticker. Always the endgame. What you’ve been calling $TON for few years was a survival mechanism imo And now that Telegram is powerful enough to finish what they started, suddenly everyone has opinions. The people screaming loudest about “community ownership” are the same people who need Telegram’s 1B MAU to make their bags worth anything. You cannot always have it both ways. You don’t get to use Telegram’s distribution as your exit liquidity and then cry about decentralization when Telegram makes a decision. TON is the legacy. But legacy is what you try to build to survive , not just what you die protecting. $GRAM was always coming. Won’t sound like I knew , but Durov just waited until the ecosystem was strong enough to handle the trut

    Nice idea, but ticker alignment does not change fundamentals. TON is already the live network with validators, fees, and apps running on it. GRAM was the original Telegram token plan that never launched at scale. Telegram can integrate anything into its app. That is distribution, not control of the chain. What matters is what developers build on and what users actually use, not how close the ticker looks to the app name.

    As one of my clever friends said, it’s very cool that with the ticker name changing ton to gram, it will look more connected with Tele'gram' obviously. And Telegram might integrate Gram deeper in Telegram in coming years.
