That is a remarkable mention. Because Algorand is being referenced in a discussion about the long-term security of digital assets. The quantum challenge is not simply protecting future assets. It is protecting existing ones. One of Algorand’s most overlooked advantages is Rekeying. Rather than forcing users, institutions, or stablecoin issuers to abandon existing addresses and migrate entire account structures, Algorand allows accounts to keep the same public address while upgrading the underlying authorization key.
